Corporation, founded in Amarillo, Texas in 1946, has
been registered as a Texas Corporation since 1958. Today, Audio-Video
Corporation services over 2,500 sound, fire alarm, security, video surveillance
and access control accounts on a regular, continuing basis. In 1993, A-1
Communications, a leading pocket paging firm in Amarillo, was acquired by
Audio-Video. A-1 Communications offers its nearly 3,000 users seamless paging
coverage from the Oklahoma Panhandle to the Texas South Plains. Audio-Video
Corporation is licensed by the State of Texas to install security, closed
circuit TV, and access control systems. Audio-Video is also a licensed fire
alarm contractor with several licensed fire alarm technicians and two Fire
Alarm Planning Superintendents on staff. Our technical
staff is also fully trained to install a wide range of intercom, access control, nurse call,
school intercom, paging, teleconferencing and fiber optic systems.
In 2002,
Audio-Video registered the name "The Security Company" as the operating name
for its security and video surveillance operations. Audio-Video Corporation is
the only firm in the Texas Panhandle with true 24-hour per day service. We have
a primary technician on call at all times along with backup servicemen to
assure that emergency service calls are handled promptly. Our customers will
attest to the fact that our service response time is second to none.
